2012–2015 · An essay on “law informatics”
The first captures, from May 2012, show a single page made with a hosted site builder, titled “Computer Services · Computer Validation”. It opened as a pitch for computer-validation services to pharmaceutical businesses, then became a long, speculative essay proposing “law informatics”: a scheme connecting genetics, protein science, accounting and law. It did not change for three years.
2016–2018 · An error page
From January 2016 the domain answered with a hosting provider’s “Error. Page cannot be displayed. Please contact your service provider for more details.” Nothing else was captured until late 2021.
2021–2022 · An advocates’ directory
In December 2021 the name carried “LAW INFORMATICS — Online directory of Advocates”, a searchable directory of lawyers in Kerala, India, with member registration and profiles, and a contact block in Kochi, Ernakulam. By February 2022 its stylesheets and login pages answered 404, and the archive records no more of it.
2025 · A gambling template
In November 2025 the homepage was a Chinese-language page titled with an online-gambling brand, wrapped around an engineering firm’s boilerplate copied from elsewhere. It had nothing to do with law or with either earlier site, and this site makes no claim about who placed it.
2026 · A new owner
The domain was registered afresh on October 30, 2026 by its current owner, who has no connection to the essay’s author, the directory, any bar association, or the 2025 template. This site documents what was here and redirects old addresses to the pages about them. It lists no lawyers and gives no legal advice.
